- US tech giant Amazon launched its first Indian online pharmacy service on Friday as it attempts to grab more of the country's burgeoning e-commerce market. Amazon is battling Walmart-backed Flipkart and JioMart, owned by Asia's richest man Mukesh Ambani, as well as local companies in the vast market of 1.3 billion people.
- The firm owned by Jeff Bezos, the world's richest person, will also conduct pilot projects in other Indian cities, a company spokeswoman told.
- India's digital health market is forecast to explode from around $4.5 billion in the current financial year to $25 billion by 2025, according to consulting agency

- 3. उन्होंने 310 से अधिक किसानों का एक समूह भी बनाया है। जिन्हें वह मधुमक्खी पालन के बिज़नेस के बारे में जानकारियां देते हैं। साथ ही, बिज़नेस शुरू करने में उनकी मदद भी करते हैं।
- 4. आज गोबिंदर शहद की बिक्री और बिज़नेस के बाकी खर्चों के बाद तक़रीबन 35,000 रुपये हर महीने कमा रहे है

- The Indian short-form video app Mitron has raised $5 million in funding led by Nexus Venture Partners. The funding will be used primarily for product development, increasing user engagement, and talent acquisition.
- The round also saw participation from existing investors 3one4 Capital and Arun Tadanki’s private syndicate on LetsVenture.
- Launched in April 2020, it was founded by Anish Khandelwal and Shivank Agarwal, who earlier worked at MakeMyTrip, and already has over 33 million downloads on Google's Play Store. Mitron also claims to have over nine billion video views per month.

- 1. A startup from the city — Technology Engineering Research for Nature (TERN) — has qualified for the semifinal round of Swadeshi Microprocessor Challenge, organized by Union government’s ministry of electronics & information technology (MeitY).
- 2. The TERN team is now working on a minimum viable prototype (MVP) of smart camera trap, which will reduce burden on the forest staff and play an important role in securing data captured from the forest.
- 3. The TERN team has five members — Srushti Mehatkar, Rohit Hazare, Omkar Kekre, Madhulika Dolke and Abhinav Chikhalkar.

IIT Delhi startup Swatric has collaborated with the Flag Foundation of India to develop a top-notch and advanced textile solution for the national flag of the country which will allow Indians to fly the national flag the year around without needing to worry much about wear and tear due to climatic factors.
- 2. An MoU was recently signed between the FITT, IIT Delhi and the Foundation to execute the associated research and development activities via the startup.

- 1. A sustainable startup, Ricron Panels was started by Rahul Chaudhary to recycle multi-layer plastic into sheets that are fire-retardant, waterproof, termite-proof and heat-resistant
- 2. They are helping address the problem by recycling MLP waste into construction boards that transform into classroom benches, toilets and other construction materials.
- 3. Formed in 2014, the Gujarat-based company today recycles 500 tons of MLPs each day.
- 4. MLP products receive low value, such as Rs 1.5-2 per kilo, and are complex to treat. Rahul says so we decided to address the issue by converting them into recycled boards. It also helps to reduce the burden on the forests as it serves as a viable alternative for plywood.
